From what I can see, I don't see anything too "Super" about Captain America. Sure he bulks and dresses up to meet the look of America's namesake hero - but what exactly does he do that makes him such an "Avenger". He jumps high, he shoots guns (very un-super) and prances around in colorful leather outfit (which really only makes him a clearer target). I give it a hard time because it takes a lot to do justice to "the Captain". But in all honesty I am excited to see this movie. Hugo Weaving (of THE MATRIX and V FOR VENDETTA fame) is absolutely perfect casting for America's arch nemesis "The Red Skull". But is Chris Evans really ideal for Captain? In every movie, he plays an arrogant class clown whose overconfidence gets him and his teammates in trouble (FANTASTIC 4, PUSH). Captain America is supposed to be the perfect patriot, humble, brave, etc. I guess we'd need to see some serious acting on his part if he is ever going to pull it off. Fingers crossed.
